Your data

Delete your account

You can delete your FinTrack account yourself at any time, from the web or the mobile app. Deletion is permanent and takes effect right away.

On the web

  1. Sign in to FinTrack.
  2. Open Settings → Data & privacy.
  3. Choose Delete account, type DELETE to confirm, and submit.

In the app

  1. Tap the settings icon on the Home tab.
  2. Go to Data & privacy → Delete account.
  3. Type DELETE to confirm.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile, sign-in identity and preferences.
  • Every bank connection. We also tell Plaid to revoke our access, so no new data is pulled.
  • All transactions, balances, holdings, budgets, goals, rules, tags and notes.
  • Uploaded receipts, invoices and tax documents, removed from storage.
  • AI briefings, insights, notifications, devices and support conversations.

We keep a single anonymous record that a deletion happened, with no way to link it back to you. Backups roll off on their normal schedule.

Only want to start fresh?

Settings → Data & privacy also has Delete financial data. It removes your connections, transactions and documents but keeps your account, so you can reconnect from scratch.
