Terms of Service
Last updated: July 14, 2026
These terms govern your use of FinTrack. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use FinTrack.
What FinTrack is (and isn't)
FinTrack is a personal finance tool: it aggregates accounts you connect, organizes transactions, and produces reports, budgets, and AI-generated summaries for your own use.
FinTrack is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. AI-generated insights are informational, can be wrong or incomplete, and are grounded only in the data you connect. Verify important numbers against your bank before acting, and consult a qualified professional for financial decisions.
Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your sign-in method and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and connect only accounts you are authorized to access. One person per account.
Acceptable use
Don’t attempt to breach, probe, or overload the service; don’t access other users’ data; don’t use FinTrack for unlawful activity; don’t resell or scrape the service. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.
Your data
Your financial data belongs to you. We process it only as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export your data from Settings at any time, and deleting your account removes it from our systems.
Third-party services
Bank connections are provided through Plaid and are subject to Plaid’s End User Privacy Policy. Data from connected institutions may be delayed, incomplete, or occasionally wrong — FinTrack displays what those services provide.
Availability and warranty
FinTrack is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We work to keep the service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FinTrack and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages — including financial losses, lost profits, or decisions made in reliance on information shown in the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (currently zero for free accounts).
Termination
You can stop using FinTrack and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.
Changes and contact
If these terms change materially we will update this page and the date above; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. Questions: support@myfintrack.io.
